What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM, so please arrive by 3:00 PM to allow time for parking and finding your seat.
What’s the dress code?
Formal attire. That means suits and ties for gentlemen, and floor-length gowns or dressy cocktail dresses for the ladies. Think elegant and elevated!
Are kids invited?
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor reception at The Parker Mill. We recommend bringing a warm coat or wrap for comfort during the ceremony.
What’s the weather like in January in Whittier, NC?
January weather can be chilly—expect temperatures between the high 30s and mid-50s. Please dress warmly, especially for the outdoor ceremony!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! There is free on-site parking available at The Parker Mill.
Will transportation be provided?
We will be providing shuttle transportation to and from the venue for our guests. Exact pickup locations and schedules will be shared closer to the wedding date.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know when you RSVP and we’ll make sure the caterer takes great care of you!
Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be noted on your RSVP. We wish we could invite everyone, but space is limited!
Are there other weekend events I should plan for?
There are no additional events planned for the weekend—just the big day on January 17, 2026!
